Food for Thought: Are You Peaky on Your Meal?

Food for Thought: Are You Peaky on Your Meal?

Everyday, minimum 3 times, we choose what we want to eat, what we feel like to have.

Sometimes, when we go to restaurants, cafes, we are peaky on the food served in there. Well, we are customers, we are paying for that, and we certainly, do have the right to choose. But, how often it happens that we go to a restaurant, we check the menu, and tell the waiter/waitress “I want this meal”. Sometimes, they say that its not available on that day. What face and attitude do we show in response to them? “Ahh… I can’t eat anything else. The rest is crap. I don’t feel like eating this… or that… Let’s go to somewhere else, where they have everything they show in the menu”.

Hey, stop! YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO CHOOSE! But there are people, including lots of kids, who DO NOT HAVE THAT CHOICE!

***

The next time you feel that peaky, think again! Be thankful that you have a chance to choose and eat what you want, or at least 90% of what you want. And, do your best to HELP those who don’t have a choice!

Remember! Your or my pity is simply not enough for them!

Football Warm-up in Safa Park

Football Warm-up in Safa Park

It’s been long time, since I haven’t played football. About 2 months. But before that, almost 8-9 years have passed. So, today we all (4 guys) gathered in Safa Park, in Dubai, to play football. Time chosen was close to evening time, since its summer in Dubai now – very hot and very humid!

Me and my flatmate – Atanas, reached the park a bit late, since we went to do some shopping. When we came to Safa Park, guys were already busy kicking the ball.

I personally, still prefer using Facebook, than Twitter, although I do have a Twitter account.

We all read magazines, newspapers, or any banners, ads on streets, whenever we have a chance. So, one day I was browsing through one of the magazines and found these tips, which seem useful for some people.

Tips for Saving Money:

1) Reduce your bills:

Go through all of your bills and decide what services can be cancelled. Are you paying for features on your phone or satellite TV that you don’t use? Eliminate those unnecessary costs.
